Yard Waste

Yard and landscaping waste is composted at the Trash Transfer Station by Terra Firma Organics. Compost is available for sale through Terra Firma Organics. 

All yard and landscaping waste is $80 per ton at the Trash Transfer Station, and should be separated into correct piles, if possible:

  • Grass, leaves, and weeds
  • Branches and shrubs
  • Trees - Must be free of
    rocks and dirt. Stumps
    larger than 25” in diameter
    must be cut into 3-foot
    sections.
