HSB Description & Role

The Housing Supply Board is an advisory board that counsels the Affordable Housing Department Director on matters related to affordable workforce housing supply in Teton County and the Town of Jackson. Ideal board candidates will have expertise in some or all of the following: site design, building design, housing finance, construction management, preservation/conservation, communications, land acquisition/sale, Federal/State housing programs, and livable communities.

Description of Duties: The board is intended to function in a highly collaborative and hands on manner, engaging in traditional and progressive approaches to housing supply. Examples of projects or tasks tackled by this board include: developing Requests for Proposals to develop affordable workforce housing, creating capital programs, and vetting potential capital projects.

Length of term: 3-years, staggered
